Radius gauge

Everyday life in production can be very stressful – especially when “small” jobs such as measuring radii take up unnecessarily time. This can be remedied by an individual radii gauge from A&E Produktionstechnik GmbH in Dresden. The special thing – the radii combinations can be individually determined.

Depending on the requirements, other radii can also be attached to the A&E radii gauge, which is protected by a utility model.

Nozzles on injection moulding machines and sprue bushings on injection moulding tools are mainly designed with radii of different sizes. The radii on the nozzles are smaller than the radii on the sprue bushings. This ensures that the positive (and also non-positive) connection is sealed directly next to the hole for the melt channel. The problem: there are too many different sizes and an estimation of the radius with the naked eye is too imprecise.

In order to be able to determine whether the nozzle and sprue bushing actually fit together, the radii on the nozzle and sprue bushing should be measured. The machine setter usually does not have this time. Radius gauges provide a quick remedy here.

Fast, practical and individual

There are various radius gauges with many different levels on the market. However, only a few of them are suitable for everyday use. A&E therefore offers an inexpensive, practical radius gauge for everyday production. Depending on the requirements, other radii can also be attached to the A&E radii gauge, which is protected by a utility model. At the customer’s request, convex and concave radii of different sizes can be arranged on one gauge and thus adapted to individual requirements.
